Yes. We install and maintain air conditioning for homes across Wollongong, the Illawarra and Sydney, plus refrigeration, air conditioning and beer systems for pubs, clubs, breweries, mechanical contractors and commercial sites.
What areas do you service?
We're based in Wollongong. Residential work covers the Illawarra and greater Sydney, and commercial work runs across Sydney and Wollongong.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. Every tradesman holds a Certificate 3 trade qualification, Standby is an ARC member with a refrigerant purchasing licence and the business carries $20 million in public liability insurance.
Can I claim a rebate on a new air conditioner?
If the system qualifies under the NSW Energy Savings Scheme, yes. Standby is an accredited NSW Government rebate installer, and eligible upgrades can access the available scheme incentive.
If my refrigeration system breaks down after hours, can you come out?
Yes. Our maintenance technician covers after-hours breakdown calls, so a failed cool room or freezer does not have to wait until the next business day.
